  Very chic hotel with fancy decoration - only paid 105 € a night for a single room in august 2008 - quite cheap - chic area with nice boutiques and restaurant plus near to Alster Lake - Gorgeous view from our room over the breakfast patio. Quiet at night, amazing location on the lake. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and always answered yes (... what people say » with a smile) to our tentative "Sprechen Sie Englisch?".

  A good hotel with easy access to the S Bahn and only a 15 minute walk to the centre of Hamburg. We had a business class room on the 16th floor overlooking the city. Friendly staff, fabulous room with everything you could possibly need provided. Lovely comfortable bed. The bathroom was fantastic with a choice of two types of shower.   The staff was very friendly and very helpful with directions. Location was excellent: 3 closeby train stations and very central, beside Alster lake, closeby touristy spots. The rooms were new, very comfy beds (difficult to leave the room!) Price was reasonable for the convenience.
