This hotel was excellent. Our family of 1 adult and 1 child fitting with 2 x Queen beds comfortably. The rooms and facilities were clean and tidy. The hotel is located in an awesome position. Walking distance to everything that Union Square and the shopping precinct has to offer.

our second stay here. We live locally but have events in SF. This hotel is our first choice. Fab location and Hotel. We had a corner room which looked out to the ferry building and the street cars. Hip boutique hotel.
This visit the only - was the fan constantly blowing in the room/bath. I slept in the robe for I was cold. If I turned on the heat the room would have been hot for the others. easy to walk around and pick up a cab here.

Hotel had a more personable feeling about it - some of the larger hotels are so impersonal. Staff were extremely friendly and greeted you upon arrival and departure. Staff were very responsive. The location is extremely good - quiet and within walking distance to many of the tourist sites.

This is an outstanding hotel. The service is superb and the staff courteous and polite. The dining experience is fabulous, and the chicken curry (ask for the white meat to be changed for dark meat) is divine. Room service is rapid, with the slowest delivery being 32 minutes - that would be extremely fast for most 5 star hotels that I have stayed in.

It was much quieter than staying downtown, with easy access to the bus and not far from Golden Gate Park by car. Good restaurants within an easy walk. The hotel has a lovely feel to it - pleasant staff on arrival; comfortable rooms; well positioned for an easy stroll into town and access to all amenities. A free daily happy hour from 4pm to 6pm was a very welcome unexpected bonus. As the name of the hotel might suggest there are strong links to the military and as a visitor from the UK it was pleasing to see the level of respect that is shown.

There is no negative thing i would mention.
The room was new and clean. Breakfest ok. Really good position of the hotel is just perfect (about 10min to the Town Hall)! The park place is small but all the guests found a place while we were there.
