When we arrived we had been upgraded from a Queen room to a Suite so were delighted. Having 2 bathrooms was a definite bonus. The suite was very clean. The staff throughout the hotel were excellent. Location was awesome. Right on Union Square and convenient to everything. We were worried as my husband was still recovering from a knee replacement but he did not have far to walk to any form of transportation. We would definitely return to the Chan - Mary

We walked to most locations including Fishermans Wharf and Lombard Street. Rooms were basic but clean. Staff were very helpfull with a seond booking for my parents who joined us late.
