New Orleans Hotels

I recently came to New Orleans for a wedding that booked out the hotel for 3 nights and Nobody could have been happier with this hotel experience. The hotel is a quaint small hotel with beautiful restored wooden staircases and the most idyllic pool area with fountains. Despite being on the highly trafficked Rampart Street, all you heard in the courtyard was running water. We could have been in the heart of the French Quarter. 40th floor over looking river, 1 block from Harrahs, 1 block from Frech Quarter. Step outside and catch the trolly. Few blocks from New Orleans Glass Works off Magazine St. Hotel was clean, comfy beds, free intenet, cable, clean room, flufffy towels. Easy check in & out. Friendly staff. Coffee maker in room, Starbucks downstairs. Wonderful hotel. Would recommend. Will stay again! - Judith

This hotel has the BEST Service and Location in New Orleans!!! Opening the doors of our beautiful room and sitting on the balcony is awesome! They have live zazz across the street and with the people watching, well why leave your room??? This hotel is simply perfection!!! - Stephen

My husband I stayed here last July for my Birthday; it is our 4th time to stay at the 905 (one of which was our honeymoon...) We always reserve room number one, as we love to sit and read on "our" front porch. Room number one has 14 foot ceilings, an enormous, comfortable bed, a sizable closet, a kitchenette, and a small bathroom with a shower (no tub.) My husband, older son, son's girlfriend and I stayed at the hotel for 4 days and 3 nights. I had wanted to stay at a "Haunted" hotel. The exterior of the hotel is impressive, the columns and detail are amazing. The lobby and crystal ballroom are also gorgeous and the staff was very friendly. The hotel bar is expensive, it was $40 for 4 small vodka crans. Parking is $28 per night and the hotel is about 5 long blocks from Bourbon Street, which can be quite a walk. The only reason I gave this hotel a 4 star and not 5 is because it is under rennovation. The poor reviews must be from those who stayed before the rennovation because the rooms were cleans and updated with marble bathroom and flat screen tv's. The location is great also..minutes away from everything. - Patricia

Reservations for this hotel were made during a stop at the Louisiana Welcome Center. We had not expected to be able to stay in the French Quarter with their expensive hotels and parking fees. It was surprising that this hotel, including parking and breakfast was so reasonable, but we were assured we would not be disappointed. In fact, we were extremely pleased at this quaint oasis. I read several reviews on this resort and, as expected, there were differences of opinions. I had stayed at this resort many years ago and although it has changed ownership since my first stay, I was still extremely pleased. The location is great and the staff is wonderful. I highly recommend spending some time on the balcony, maybe drinking a cup of coffee in the morning while overlooking St. Charles Ave. and some nice peaceful time on the roof at night for a beautiful view of the city.
