The location--a pleasant, 5-minute walk from Union Square--is a block east of Market Street, and the street people and beggars were present but neither threatening nor bothersome. We loved the clean, "classic," design of the rooms, with Empire style decor (mirrors, artwork), cozy beds, and everything very clean. - Neil

The room. It has such a character. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the barwith live music as well. The hotel was very clean which was a big plus. - Anonymous

We were very pleased with our selection of hotel. When we arrived we had been upgraded from a Queen room to a Suite so were delighted. Having 2 bathrooms was a definite bonus. The suite was very clean. The staff throughout the hotel were excellent. Location was awesome. Right on Union Square and convenient to everything. We were worried as my husband was still recovering from a knee replacement but he did not have far to walk to any form of transportation. We would definitely return to the Chan - Mary

Clean. Location. A mix up with our reservation: we'd booked 2 rooms, but they only had one reserved. They do overbook and hotel was full. I produced my Bookings.com paper-work and it was sorted. A bit unnerving tho' - glad we arrived at 4 p.m. and not at 11 p.m. The receptionist (Maria) was excellent. Sorted everything and comped us breakfast for the duration of our stay to make up for the mix up. - Anonymous

Queen Anne was very quaint, unique, very relaxing. We enjoyed sittingdownstairs in the evening in front of the fireplace. Our room wasspacious, bed was very comfortable. Only a few blocks to walk to thecable car line. Very accessible and safe to walk at night - Karin
