  I stayed at south beach for about 4 days.The staff was really nice, helpful and friendly. The room was clean and with all the kitchen facilities, such as refrigerator, a small dining table and a microwave. We originally booked and paid a deposit at Miami International Travellers Hostel, but when we arrived there they told us they didnt have room for us!!!! they gave us no explanation and just gave us our deposit back and told us to go find somewhere else. When we ... what people say » arrived the girl at the desk was sooo helpful and friendly and got us a room straight away, she was even apologising for the other hostel even though - I liked that fact that the location was excellent. Great restaurants, shopping and the beach were a few blocks away. I liked the fact that it was quiet at night and we were able to get a good sleep. I liked that there were hardwood floors instead of the carpet. I also enjoyed the direcTV. For it being an Art Deco hotel it was average. The Hotel staff is very friendly and accomodating, they even suggested a really good Cuban restaurant to us which was delicious!!! All in all it was a great girls

There is always a bowl of "help yourself" fruit in the lobby along with USA Today Newspapers. Whether you choose continental breakfast or the upgrade breakfast, both hit the spot. The outdoor pool is nice but the hotel is downtown and a row of hedges separates the pool from the sidewalk.

  Doesn't look like a place you would want to stay from the outside but, this is a real gem! Excellent service. I had been charged for food I never used out of our in room bar and they promptly credited my account with no questions asked! Love the morning coffee and the evening wine tasting! Nice pool.   We had a 2-bedroom apartment which was very comfortable and excellent value for money. The apartments are located in several blocks around courtyards; ours was located next to the pool area. This was fine (not too noisy) but if you would mind this I'd suggest you request one away from the pool area. The apartment was spacious, tastefully decorated... what people say » and had everything we needed. The area is at a good walking distance from the main attractions in Miami Beach. Parking is not easy but we managed to - The staff was very courteous and friendly. Whatever request we made they answered and fulfilled it to the best of their abilities. RICARDO and Paula was great! I enjoyed my stay there and I will return. The location of the apartment was most convenient being that it was literally 5 minutes away from the strip by car. Not much ruckus and noise so we got some much needed rest when we finally layed down.
