Doesn't look like a place you would want to stay from the outside but, this is a real gem! Excellent service. I had been charged for food I never used out of our in room bar and they promptly credited my account with no questions asked! Love the morning coffee and the evening wine tasting! Nice pool. I would stay here again!. Every member of your staff that we encountered was not only good, but exceptional. Chris, your activities mgr. Was most engaging and helpful, as was Brad, at the consierge desk, and your Bell Captain, whose name I forgot, I apologize. These people and the rest of the staff were wonderful!.
all reviews » Everything was exceptional. We felt very welcome and well cared for. Wonderful staff, very good food. The room was nicely appointed and very comfortable. Pool and beach were terrific. Classy and unpretentious. Enjoyed the entire facility. The staff was outstanding. Great location, walking distance to everything. The on site restaurant was good. The room was nice, clean and slept great. I would stay here again. I liked everything! The location was especially good being next to the beach and within walking distance to Lincoln Road - a pedestrianised street which is great for shops, cafes and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful Location was perfect, virtually on the beach, in the middle of where we wanted to be yet off the noisy roads. Room rate was reasonable for the location. We didn't like the fact that gratuities were included in food and beverage charges and we didn't know. No where did we see any mention of this in any of your information. We don't mind paying top dollar for a cocktail, but when I see a bartender measure a shot, for 14 or 15 dollars, and not freepour, it is theivery!. Loud music from the SLS next door was annoying. Minor issue was bathroom size, but not a major concern. It was clean and met our needs. The overpowering volume of the music/DJ from lunchtime to night fall of the hotel next door at the weekend. It had newly opened so not sure if that would be a regular occurrence (I think so). The week days were better. Price of extras eg meals and drinks - not value for money. Nothing. Checked out a lot of other hotels and this is the best choice for south beach. Cons- paying for umbrellas at the beach was ridiculous. Was very unhappy to be there the night the Ultra Festival- my room shook it was so loud, and I was tired from traveling. The manager implied he was going to take something off our bill but then he never did. Nothing!. Cost. Breakfest was not included in our price, when we asked to pay for the breakfest, we got a menu. If letsbookhotel.com has a price per day, hotel should have one as well. On the beach umbrella was not included in price in spite of the fact you pay 24 $ for advantages hotel offers. Without umbrella was not possible stay on the beach. Thin walls!. Price little too high. Slow service and way too expensive for what you got. Small rooms. Too cold in the hallways, too dark in the hallways. Us$ 52.00/day= parking + resort tax. The pool DJ music - too loud - some of the other trashy guests. Room walls are paper thin. The staff are extremely customer focused, but if you aren't at the front of the line you have to wait and hear the service others are receiving. That I had to leave! :(. Too expensive for the size of the room. The bathroom is tiny!!. The bathroom was small. Very expensive, charges for everything. Did not clean rooms until 10pm at night. room cleaning service was horrible. last on first day, very late 2nd day after asking for the room to be cleaned, no cleaning at all on 3rd. complained at front desk and at least they tried to make up for it by removing the resort fee. furthermore they gave us trouble using the beach facilities on the day of the check-out despite having paid the resort fee for four days. in summary, nice hotel but no cleaning and trouble using facilities are not acceptable at this price point. The pool was closed. There was no direct access to the beach either as the pool and beach areas were closed to accomodate a dj party that went from 11am to 11pm every day. Very noisy and totally unfair for the hotel not to have provided full dislcoure in advance to prospective guests. A bad experinece because of this.
