  The location was excellent. the front desk starting with Christian, he always explianed how to get to our destination and he even wrote directions and marked on the map. i needed an extra room and he was always accomodating. Joshua, he was always nice with my parents especially speaking spanish to them as they were senior citizens, I was picking on... what people say » him calling him Jacobs and still never complained. Thomas, he was also able to take care of my parents and he never hesitated to make our stay memora - We enjoyed our stay ,Staff was friendly & very accomodating,Bed was extremely comfortable ..& there were no surprises..The room was exactly what it said.. yes it was small ,but we were aware of that when we booked..For a room in this area we definately got what we needed at a resonable price...we had a great trip..& we would stay there again....

Believe me, not all hostels offer that).   The hotel is absolutely adorable. We had Bird Room, decorated with fantastic paintings. The bad is big and comfortable, we felt like home. The bathroom with shower and hair dryer, and shampoo I was in love with. It was quite and warm in the room, one of the important things is that we had our own key, so we could be absolutely free to go and come ... what people say » back anytime we want. If you need room cleaning – you just need to ask, nobody bothers you. In our room we had tv, telephone (it was important cause w - We, a family of five, hired the Artists Loft. It was a very pleasant place to stay: a large separate bedroom for the parents, a very large living room including three beds for the kids and a very convenient kitchen block (including free coffee). So enough space to move around and the appartment was very nicely decorated. Also it had WiFi (very important for teenage kids to stay in touch with their friends at home)!   Nice and spacious room with everything you need. . Bathroom was big and clean and had a nice vintage look. The whole building is just fantastic. It's got a special feel, hard to describe. You have to see for yourself. Jeremy, the owner, was very helpful and got us on track to discover Harlem. He gave us some valuable info on the real Little Ital... what people say » y in the Bronx. We had an excellent dinner in Arthur Avenue thanks to him :-) We also ended up in a pretty cool bar just around the corner. A good tip - My room was in the Victorian Row house which was a few blocks up from the main location. I liked how insanely comfy the beds were. After a long flight and arriving late, its all you want and more than exceeded my expectations. Also liked that there was a kitchen that I could use so I could have a cup of tea when I got in from traipsing the streets all day.   Our favorite aspect of the room was the bathroom with both a deep soaking tub and a lovely shower with hand held spray. This latter feature is often omitted in even many nicer hotels. Of course the marble and the overall design created a cheerful and homey environment. The bed was excellent and the mattress was friendly to our hypersensitive backs... what people say » . The sound system was nice. Our room faced the back and so was extemely quiet for nyc. Of course, the staff was as pleasant as could be. - The staff were ALL extremely helpful and friendly. The room was large and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was very large and extremely nice. The shower was amazing and had great water pressure. The bed was deliciously comfortable. Even though our room overlooked Madison Avenue, it was very quiet. In short, it was wonderful!!

  We really liked the Belnord's location. It is in a quiet street close to Central Park, in the Upper West Side. It is only one block away from the subway station where Line 3 takes you all the way to Lower Manhattan without changing trains.
