  It was right in the middle of the city and herself was delighted as it was on one of the main streets with all the famous Spanish retailers.   The location was excellent and the facilities were very good. However the best thing, as with any hotel, was the staff. Everyone from the Receptionists to the bar staff and housekeepers were very friendly and helpful.   The facilities were excellent, the power shower was amazing, laptop with free internet and all the finishing touches to the decor etc really made the difference. The hotel is right in the middle of everything but you never hear any of the traffic because of the very good double glazing even though we were right on the road. Upon arrival we were faced with a lovely smiling receptionist, the design of the hotel is amazing! A 3* hotel worth for 4* at least! The room was sparkling clean everyday, comfortable bed, ac with cold and hot air flow, young and really helpful and friendly staff. This hotel is in the heart of the city and honestly you pay less but get much more for what you paid! Excellent! Would definitelly go back to B

The staff are very friendly and willing to help, wherever required. The rooms are well appointed, extremely comfortable and clean. There's a great roof top bar area with a small plunge pool to cool off. Lastly, the location is fabulous. Only a few minutes walk to La Ramblas. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

  Excellent location, quiet room. The room was very pleasant and so were the public areas of the hotel. The staff was very kind, efficient and helpful. The Airbus station is just few minutes away and since we traveled by air we enjoyed the cheap and efficient bus transportation. The Avenida Palace is one of the best 4-star hotels in which I have been staying: excellent location, good service, recently renovated room and bathroom, and almost no noise from the street, from the corridor or from other rooms.
