  The hostal is a very nice apartment (or two joint apartments) on the 3rd floor of a beautiful modernist house, with these old-style elements like shutters, tiled floor, wicker sofa, and separate taps for cold and hot water, and our room had a beautiful little balcony with forged railings. Everything in the apartment was not new, but it was clean ... what people say » and everything was functioning well - cold/hot water, electricity. The hostesses, Maria and Martina, were very nice and helpful. Living in this real b - The entire hostal has great design features and the owners knew what vintage furniture pieces to ad in order to preserve its wonderful architecture. I especially loved the strained-glass windows and the original tiles in all rooms. My room was spaceous, with a great street view from the small balcony. The location is perfect: 5 minutes walk to Paseig de Gracia and another 5 minutes to Placa de Catalunya (also, metro stations and bus stations are very close). The owners are really nice and ready

  - Great location, close to 2 underground stations, Tetuan and Passeig de Gracia. We walked about 20 mins to Sagrada Familia and about the same time from Placa de Catalunya (where we got the bus to the airport) - Free Wifi - Clean and spacious rooms. We stayed in a room with a balcony. - Good value for money to stay in Barcelona. - Reception was ve... what people say » ry helpful, giving us tips on places to go, and also helping us with getting online tickets to Sagrada Familia. - Our room was very quiet. - Overall a great place to stay. It is only a 15 minute walk from Las Ramblas and many other major atttractions, but is in a nice quiet location. It is also only a few minutes walk to the nearest Metro stations, which provide easy access across Barcelona. The room was fairly small, but was well decorated; was lovely and clean; and was quiet. It also had a nice balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful and offered good sightseeing tips.

  Very friendly and helpful host, he will give you a city map and give you advices when you first arrived. There is no ensuite room but shared toilet is very clean, and there are 2 toilets in each floor so you may not even have to share with anyone else. There is hair dryer as well.
