What people say

Very friendly and helpful host, he will give you a city map and give you advices when you first arrived. There is no ensuite room but shared toilet is very clean, and there are 2 toilets in each floor so you may not even have to share with anyone else. There is hair dryer as well. I had a spacy room with private balcony, which was lovely. Great location, many places are just 10 mins walk away. Station is 5 mins away.
all reviews » Very very very friendly staff,clean and tidy room, exactly at the center of the city with two metro stops to serving to each direction, the coffee bar to proposed to U.S. for breakfast by the owner just across from the hotel was fantastic!. The staff is so friendly, he recommended the caffe' for breakfast is really yummy!! Also provided lots of information of Barcelona,which is really helpful!!!the room is clean and simple,the toilet as well!! Anyway ,we had great time!!!. Andrea was very helpful, very informative and very friendly. He introduced us to an excellent cafe for snacks and coffee and booked a table for us at a restaurant with incredibly good and cheap food. everithing: the location of the place , the availibility of Andrea and Ferran, the little cosy room, the wifi working...everithing very easy... se you soon!. we liked the host Andreo, the decor and the fact that there were two metro stations nearby. Friendly non-resident host arrived on time to give the key (in exchange for expensive payment by credit card) Host arranged for an early morning taxi to take us to the airport. As it is located on a street, it is very noisy even when the window is closed, which made it hard to sleep at night. The hotel may need to install the sound-proof windows. A little noisy beacause of the road!. The wifi didnt goes well the day before we left!. The room only had a ceiling fan which was not enough for a really hot July night. At other times of the year it would probably be sufficient. a small request, when people is arriving at the hotel in the night, while showing them the place,staying in the living room, could you take care that they are quiet?. The noise from the road. Very Noisy room as we were right next to a large boulevard. 1. No reception or regular host presence - I had to inform about my arrival time beforehand and had to look for host on earlier arrival (was not very easy to reach on the phone). 2. Difficult to find inside the building - no sings. 3. Wi-fi password was too complicated - i didn'd manage it on iPad (tried several times). considering the room price there was nothing to complain about. no cleaning service in your room, fresh towels only if you ask for,. We booked a room with an ensuite, which we paid extra for, but got a room with a shared bathroom instead. The lock on the door was so flimsy, we didn't feel safe to leave our belongings unattended. The balcony was shared. Unlit 30 steps up to unmarked door to hostel (old-style open cage lift not working). Corridor of padlocked bedrooms, doors marked WC or bathroom. No safe for valuables. No kitchen or tea-making facilities. Quite expensive 230 Euros per night for 3 people to have a bed and access to a shower and WC. no tv ..the whole IKEA decoration , lamp , chair, mirror must have been way under 30 euro..
