  A shared kitchen allowed cooking own meals, staff spoke perfect english and was very helpful - they even made some calls to solve a problem that happened to us while visiting another hotel. Our room was quite small but clean, functional and nice. - The pension is staffed at almost all hours of the day, so felt safe. The location was quiet despite... what people say » being in the centre of town. The shared bathrooms and kitchen were always kept clean. I liked that the staff were helpful.

  I stayed only one night but I really like it and like I was staying for a long time...It is a home actually but really nice and really warm..I talked with Agustina who working there at nights and she was really nice and trying to help you(Thank you for everything Agustina)..there is shared kitchen so, you can cook your own food(its best way to sav... what people say » e money for backpackers) cleaning was good as well :) I will come back there If I come to Barcelona again..Hope to see you soon :) - Staff was really helpful and friendly. There's two different guest houses in nearby buildings, one is rather communal backpacker style and the other is quieter. I was in the former (without knowing what I was getting into), and they were easy going about moving me into the latter. Good kitchen set up. The backpacker place was actually pretty nice for that sort of thing, just not what I was looking for (I'm a bit older than that now, and like my peace and quiet!).
