  We arrived at 11.30am after starting from home at 3.30am. We were delighted to be told a room was available and that our request for a room in the quiter part of the hotel had been honoured. The hotel restaurant has an excellent menu offering a varied choice of well prepared dishes at a reasonable price. We would recommend this hotel to our friends... what people say » . - Free internet access, free breakfast, free water and apples...you can't go wrong! Plus the rooms are really modern, the staff is really nice, the price was right and the hotel is within walking distance (.5 miles) to some of Barcelona's main sites.

Very clean and quiet room, as advertised. Requested change of sheets after 3 days, else housekeeping was superb. Didn't try the restaurant. - Central location, spacious room.

  The staff there were extremely helpful, at arrival they gave us maps of Barcelona and a lot of tips of places to see, including many places not well known as tourist sites but turned out to be amazing! the Hostal was really clean and the room was cleaned everyday along with new towels. The staff were exceptional!! We travel a lot and I have never had such helpful friendly staff. The room we stayed in was small but the way they have designed the rooms they have been able to maximize the space and was very comfortable. The rooms are new and a beautiful modern design, comfortable beds, nice shower and great a/c! Everything about this place was perfect! I would definitely recommend staying here to everyone!

We needed to print off boarding passes and the girl on reception was most helpful and did it without any trouble . I would stay at Whotells again

  The locality. It is perfect. It is by Plaza Catalunya-the heart of the city. I never needed to use the taxi. Everything was close by-Plaza Catalunya was a 5 min walk, the metro was a 5 min walk, the bus stop was a 5 step walk, Las Ramblas was a 10 min walk away. The rooms were 4 star quality.   Our stay was very pleasant. The staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Rooms are soundproof due to the large double windows and very bright and clean as well with a modern style.
