But then again you don't really expect to when you're only using the hotel as a place to rest your head after spending all day exploring the city.   Receptionist were so nice and helpful. Also it was safe at the hotel, since La Rambla is not so safe at night the hotel locked their doors. Also loved the central location. Stated on my booking and was met and shown around the security door and lift facilities. l was pleasantly surprised once I entered the apartment. The facilities and decor were good. The Metro is very close and really the apartments are in a great central location to get around Barcelona. The staff was responsive and very helpful. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apt in #20.

  The hotel was very centrally located within a few minutes walking distance of busy las ramblas & close to many restaurants & a supermarket. The apartment room was large & spacious to accommodate my family of 4 including 2 teenagers. The bathroom was very spacious as well & the kitchenette was well equipped. Hotel reception staff were exceptional eg Aritz, Manuel & Zavi - Lovely location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, but in a small side street so it is nice and quiet. The rooms are lovely with the exposed wall and slate tiled bathrooms. Staff were really helpful and recommended places to eat and go see, and generally very friendly and attentive. Fantastic location near all the bars and restaurants, and about 5-7 min walk to the food market, and tube (metro) station. We didn't use the swimming pool as we went in March (still too cold) but it did look tiny.
