  Receptionist were so nice and helpful. Also it was safe at the hotel, since La Rambla is not so safe at night the hotel locked their doors. Also loved the central location.   This was the second time we stayed here and we will be staying there again in the Fall. Liked the bunk beds for the kids even though the ladder was a little hard to climb for my son.   Hotel Fornos biggest advantage is the l-o-c-a-t-i-o-N. Situtated 10 M. from the Rambla and 10 M. from the clasy and cool Plaza Real I wouldn't swith Fornos for another hotel. The interior of the room is a bit old, looks like from the 80's or so but who cares as long as you are in the middle of the action. The receptionists are cool, kind and fun. ... what people say » Breakfast a bit dull but still maximum points for Fornos from me. - It was amazing, great view, awesome room (two balconies at a room of three beds), a nice and warm welcoming, situated in a very good location, very accessible from all points of view.   Hotel is simply great! Breakfast is great! Room spacious and clean. Location, shops/ restaurants and even Carrefour by walking distance. My Hubby was like Uh-oh, too convenience for a shoppng spree! U r actually at the Ramblas! Station is just a min's walk. Will come back and definitely stay here again! The Metro is very close and really the apartments are in a great central location to get around Barcelona. The staff was responsive and very helpful. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apt in #20.
