Ideal location v.close to metro, helpful staff. Close to bars and Cafes. 20 min on the metro from Barcelona bus station. Very clean room. We had a rear facing room that looked over some rear gardens but not an issue. I would certainly stay here again. - The hotel has very good location, close to the metro station and to Rambla. I like everything very much. The services is great. The rooms were allways clean (the towels changed every day) and confortable. The location of the hostal Oliveta is very convienent. Just couple minutes from metro station Parallel, also you can easily reach the old quarter, La Ramblas on foot. It will take 10-15 minutes to walk.

Stayed for 8 days, in the beginning, the hotel was the mistakes, and they booked us a room to other guests were settled, we proposed a more modest room, two days later freed ours, previously reserved room. Nice place with all that we need during our Travel!! Realy clean, with air conditioning, situated near Placa de Catalonya, which is the centre of the city. Only few rooms are there, so there is no problem with bathroom. Friendly and helpfull host, with a good advices and words for everyone. I'd like to come back this place asap! -

were made up, the fact that there was dishwashing liquid, tablets for
the dishwasher, toilet paper, rubbish bags etc just to start. Lovely

Worth to be a 4 stars hotel, new and clean, the double room is big and comfortable, the decoration is very modern. The TV and some electronic equipment is Bang and Olufsen!!! Eurostars Grand staff are very friendly and professional. The rooms were fantastic. The best thing was the walk in shower. The food was excellent and the waiters were the best in any hotel we stayed at. They seemed to sense when someone required service. We never had to wait long for anything. I cannot fault one detail about this hotel. The staff are very friendly and willing to help, wherever required. The rooms are well appointed, extremely comfortable and clean. There's a great roof top bar area with a small plunge pool to cool off. Lastly, the location is fabulous. Only a few minutes walk to La Ramblas. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

rooms. Location!!! Its on a quiet street just a few hundred yards from
La Ramblas. It was a beautiful hotel right in the center of everything.
The finishings were beautiful with a luxurious feel in the common areas
as well as in the rooms. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were
quiet. Nice big towels and very nice large bath sheets. Out of the 5
hotels we stayed at in Spain, this was our favorite.

The location was superb for our holiday purposes. Placa Reial was a great buzzy place to be, but yet the double glazing ensured a good night's sleep in our rooms which overlooked it.
The staff were excellent: helpful, knowledgeable, friendly. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them.
We loved the included minibar and breakfast, and the fruits etc provided fresh every day.

There are only 25 rooms in this hotel, so the service was superb. We were addressed on a first-name basis by the staff (great job Javier, Wim, and Ignacio!) We felt extremely welcome and appreciated. The location was unbeatable - 2 minutes to Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya. Rooms were comfortable, efficient, and sleekly designed - and the extra "salon" was a bonus. We also enjoyed the 24-hour complimentary cafe and the personalized breakfast.
