This is the 2nd time that I have stayed at a hotel in the Vincci group and I have found the hotels very comfortable both times. comfortable rooms, with good facilities.this time I was staying in an ajoining room, which did mean that I had to put up with a little bit of noise from teh next door guest, (guests were not overally noisy, but you could hear them showering and generally moving about).

However, you can find cafés, metro station and the city bus tour in about 10 minutes walking (maximum), and to get to the Ramblas it is about a 10 Euros taxi..not that bad. The corridor was very hot.There wasn't enough selection for english speakers on the television so you are forced to buy the hotels tv, movie and music package which is quite expensive. The local area that the hotel is situated. air conditioning in lobby not working -very hot on check in etc. we had to call receptionto open the windows!!!!. Not a proper bar. Hotel has no bar. So if the night after your walk want a drink yoy have to take one of the mini bar in yoyr room.We booked a double room but got a twin room with beds pushed together. A bit annoying. No actual bar area.Small reception area.No Balcony. Main complaint is that internet access at 5E for 1hr is of no help when it only lasts for the one continuous hour. Usually I purchase one hour and use it over the time at the hotel. There was nothing at the time of purchase to explain this or suggest for 7.5E I could have bought a credit for one hour. The lighting in the room was poor, so not recommended for people who apply makeup and we couldnt open the window which meant it got very stuffy.The location is a bit far from the action, but the Metro is very closeby. no coffee making facilities in room - nowhere to put clothes in spa area. There was something wrong with bath tub (plug), and it could not be fixed throughout our stay. there were no tea and coffee making facilities.a coffee/tea maker in the room would have greatly enhanced our enjoyment of our stay at the hotel. We also would have appreciated greater command of the english language by the service personnel. They need to operate a bar at the lobby in case you are too tired to go out and you want to have a drink untill midnight or something.Hotel corridors! There's no A/C and it's boiling being there. They should think about sorting that out. Very noisy seemed to be work going on in the room next door, during check out staff member answered phone while serving us adding 10 mins to check out. The price - seemed quite expensive. Also the sink kept making noises all through the night. The gym was poor, it only had cardio equipment. The food was below average.the noise. would like coffee making facilities in room, could hear through walls,. I had 2 pieces of big luggage and I had to lift them up and down the stairs of the hotel to reach the counter. view of collapsed building quite unsightly. Staff could have been more friendly. the room is very small and the Corridors are very narrow and extremely hot. Our room had been smoked in which was masked on the first evening by an overpowering smell of cheap airfreshener. too hot in corridor. Traffic noise heard in room.Get someone for the luggage, install/use the aircondition, pick up any items that need ironing from the room and do not require to be brought to the reception by the client. Bad service, small rooms (comparing to the price), unfriendly manner of the hotel staff, poor breakfast. And of course it is not a 4-star hotel.
