  We stayed in the suite which was simply gorgeous. The balcony, shaped tub, remote controlled curtains, reflective glass, see-through glass, mirrors, and lighting, all contributed to an intimate setting. The hotel's library, livingroom, artwork, outdoor space with sunhats - We enjoyed the juxtaposition of the historic building and painted ceilings against the modern decor. The staff was very helpful in giving us restaurant recommendations and directions to the sites. The breakfasts were delicious and diverse (instead of the bread and coffee most B&Bs serve). It was extremely clean and very intimate given there are only 7 rooms. We ate breakfast on the private patio every morning where we enjoyed architecture hidden from passersby on the street.   It's cheap! We really liked the interior of this old building. Nice ceiling, nice tiling. Almost antique ;) And a clean (shared) bathroom! The staff is friendly. Location is excellent. - Spacious and cheap room. In the centre of Barcelona, approximately 500 metres from The Rambla.
