We stayed in the suite which was simply gorgeous. The balcony, shaped tub, remote controlled curtains, reflective glass, see-through glass, mirrors, and lighting, all contributed to an intimate setting. An addition to the mini-bar was an "intimacy kit." On a practical note, the sink was very large with a tap drain which made washing clothes quite easy. The wardrobe had plenty of space and the music from the tv system was free. The hotel's library, livingroom, artwork, outdoor space with sunhats.
all reviews » We enjoyed the juxtaposition of the historic building and painted ceilings against the modern decor. The staff was very helpful in giving us restaurant recommendations and directions to the sites. The breakfasts were delicious and diverse (instead of the bread and coffee most B&Bs serve). It was extremely clean and very intimate given there are only 7 rooms. We ate breakfast on the private patio every morning where we enjoyed architecture hidden from passersby on the street. Also, just outs. location is great: close to grazia street where u can find the amazing buildings by GAUDI. metro station is just out of the building. ANBA has only 7 rooms and a lovely living room. so its quite like a home durying your stay. ANBA offers good breakfast , coffe and tea (especially chinese green tee and oolong tea) which is so great for me . really value for money in Barcelona. Clean well located boutique hotel with friendly helpful staff. Beds were comfortable and rooms were very nice. Breakfast was delicious with a selection of pastries (croissants and baguettes), fresh fruits and juices, Spanish omelette or eggs, meats and cheeses. Everything was fresh and delicious. Would recommend this to my friends and family coming to visit the city. Anba Bed & Breakfast was a fantastic option for us. Location was excelent - entrance to underground station is just in front of the house! All services were great, we especially enjoyed afternoon coffee in the patio. After 10years of marriage we left the kids with grandparents and had a 4night romantic trip to Barcelona :-) Anba was for us just excellent!!. Just about everything; great friendly owner and staff, amazingly delicious breakfast, great location, safe building and area, very quiet rooms. It felt like you are staying at a friend's home, very cozy, beautiful set up and amazing decor. I loved the funky art piece that seemed to float over the long purple sofa... in. We were upgraded the first night, hence the luxury description. Everyone was helpful and friendly, the breakfast was excellent with lots of options. Great downtown location, delightful patio. Rooms were small but well appointed. A small, delightful place to spend a few days in Barcelona. We loved it. They allow early arrivals to check in whenever possible. Lounge with hot beverages and snacks. our suite (room nbr 6) was absolutely fantastic for a couple's holiday and suite's bathtub is suitable for 2 persons. The hotel was very comfortable and clean. We were given a picnic to take with us when we left too early for the delicious breakfast! The door to the entrance of the building has a ledge to step over which is a bit difficult to get through with luggage.The elevator on the hotel floor upstairs, stops about two inches below the floor level. The sliding shower door left a narrow space to walk through, sideways. Breakfast was not abundant. Though there was a variety of foods to choose from, small amounts were laid out at a time to be shared among the guests of the seven rooms. In spite of these discomforts, go anyway!. Wifi was not strong and did not work consistently. small elevator difficult with bags and two people. if driving garage is a block away and had to make multiple trips for bags. difficult to find because sign is on second floor above the street. Breakfast was really versatile and good quality but offered next rooms having not so perfect soundproofing. So, if you would like to sleep longer than 8am the hotel is probaly not the best choice. Nothing at all. Leaving... No curtain around the bathtub. We had to wait for breakfast one morning because server arrived late. Also, disappointed that my grandchildren (brother and sister) were moved to a room with one large bed. My rooms were booked several months in advance, and I expected to received two rooms with two beds in each room as was confirmed.
