Simple sleek minimal style accomodation. We had attic apartment and were pleasantly surprised to find a great outdoor terrace with loungers and table and stools. Great views amongst the rooftops of the barri gothic. Felt safe and secure. Helpful staff around most of the day. Pretty high up with massive drop off terrace so perhaps not great if your kids are naughty and don't listen to your absolute rules re looking over the edge! The apartment is located in the centre of Barcelona (close to the cathedral). It's a proper apartment for two people or maybe three if you don't have any problems sleeping on a couch. The interior is okay for you won't stay too long insinde the apartment.
There is a TV (we didn't used it and a good music station for iphone ....).

Was looking for a last minute booking for weekend trip to Barcelona & chose L' Antic Espai due to reviews. Happily I can only agree & add to the positive vibe - it was a perfect little room (little is true but it was ample), brilliant location, amazing breakfast and fantastic staff, Danny in particular living up to his online reputation. Our trip would not have been as blessed without his knowledge & help. Highly recommended

It is a gorgeous unique hotel right in the center of Barcelona. Best choice for best price. Very friendly and helpfull staff and owner. - It's a beautiful place and, if you like antiques, is the perfect place to stay in Barcelona! The terrace is very nice, with flowers, plants and birds!
