To the airport you can use train R1 or R4 from metro station Arc de Triumf till the second station called Saints and then the R2 Nord train (not south) till Airport (about 4stations).   The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, something we have found lacking in our stay at various hotels abroad. The room was very clean and comfortable and there were lots of little touches to make us feel welcome. The location was also very good, a few minutes walk from La Ramblas, but not close enough to be bothered by the noise. The facilities were fantastic, my son and I had a swim and the room had all those little extras that you might have forgotten. The best thing about this hotel though was the staff.   Location is good if you don't like loud night life (the district is quiet, not comparable to El Raval where we stayed before; no noise from the streets and it's still only 10-15 min to subway "Joanic"); We had a 2-bedroom apt, it was really big, bright, renovated and clean. Kitchen was equipped with everything (kettle, dishes, bowels, toaster etc.... what people say » .)! Everything as per foto. House itself is quiet and renovated. Communication with the staff was OK, checkin &checkout was fast. Overall = recomm - Staff member alex was very helpful. We arrived later than anticipated and he was very understanding as i had no signal to update him as we arrived. Apartment was modern and airy and had everything we needed except a cot bed so i would not use here if needing this unless you take your own. The sofa bed wasnt this biggest either. Other than that the only issue we had was hot water which alex kindly remedied. Location was good for the sagreda familia but a bit of walk to las ramblas but no major i
