The Hostal keeper was very friendly and ready to help at any moment. The room was clean and so were the bathrooms. We were able to leave our backpacks in the hostal before checking in and after checking out. Very nice not to have to carry this around.

Great place. Alfonso was the lovliest man, & a good looker in his day as was his sister. They were lovely. Beautiful old building, very chicly decorated. Loved it. They didn't have our booking recorded but it was no problem for Alfonso. -

We stayed in one of the penthouse apartments with my elderly parents and two children. The location was superb, a few blocks from the Passeig de Gracia, many local restaurants nearby as well as stores and a very cool local market/grocery store.
