  This is an excellent hostel, more beautiful and better than you imagine, it's got some cosy areas and the staff is super friendly! and although on the map it seems a bit up there, is actually very close to the most useful metroline that takes you everywhere within a short time. - We stayed 1 night at Serenity, and must say its a perfect hostel to... what people say » stay.   The location of the pension couldnt be more perfect. In 10-15 min walk, you'r at the beach and in 2 min, u're at La Rambla Street. The pension is located in a small alley so it is very quiet. The room was simple but clean. The air condition, which is a must in Barcelona in July, worked perfectly. In conclusion, it is a great value/money hotel. We loved our stay - We stayed twice in a room with private bathroom and will be coming back for sure. The hotel is extremely nice: the design is simple, but very nice, in white and blue tones, the bed was extremely comfortable, rooms had a small balcony, the bathroom was clean and neat, the reception was friendly and helpful. It is 2 min walk from Las Ramblas and Columbus. All in all, you get much more than you are paying for. 10 out of 10.

  The location was excellent. They had a area for free beverages that included Red Bull, which are about $3 in Florida where I live. They gave a lot of resources( maps, directions, etc) for getting around town and making the most of your stay. Spoke good English and let us check in two hours early. Very modern and posh decor. Would definetly go back ... what people say » to this hotel if ever in Barcelona again. - The location was good. It was close to the main street and metro station. It was also on the side street, and our room was not facing the street, so it was quiet. We had a 8months old baby, so we were worried about the street noise. The room was clean and modern and big enough to even have a cot inside the room. There is free 24h coffee and water, which was excellent.
