This is an excellent hostel, more beautiful and better than you imagine, it's got some cosy areas and the staff is super friendly! and although on the map it seems a bit up there, is actually very close to the most useful metroline that takes you everywhere within a short time. We stayed 1 night at Serenity, and must say its a perfect hostel to stay. Its clean, beds were good and staff very friendly!Location is good, close too the beach and close to La Rambla. We`ll come back for sure.
all reviews » Nice apartment in the El Raval neighborhood. Great view of the streets and social life. Walking distance from everything!!! (Plaza Reial, Las Ramblas, the beach). The apartment is packed with all necessary. The chap on reception was friendly and helpful. The loaction was very good to get into the centre of Barcelona. It ws close to bars and restaurants. THe bed was comfortable and the shower was fine. The staff are really nice. The place is very neat and cosy. It is at the heart of Barcelona - everything is at just 5 minutes away. I had a great time there. highly recommend the place!. La ubicaciòn es perfecta, nos hemos alojado solamente por 1 sola noche pero cuando volvamos a barcelona nos hospedaremos de nuevo con ustedes chicos, gracias por toda la yuda. In this hostel I had everything that I need for a good and comfortable stay!! For sure I recommend this place, If you`re looking for a clean place and great location. I strongly recommend serenity, because is cheap, clean and because in a few minutes walk you can easily get both to the Ramblas and the Barceloneta and museums :). We couldnt bring some friends, but we understood. is a third floor without lift. they ask silence after 23:00. Nothing (but the snoring guy in the next room). late check in fee. small room, not enough hot water in the bathroom. The building was old and although pretty clean, the smell of mold and mildew is over powering in the bathroom. It's also up a lot of stairs with no lift and down a dodgy alley in a less than desirable neighborhood called El Raval on lower Ramblas. I wouldn't go here if you're a solo female traveler. Without heating, without sheet, in a building run-down. We found the mattress covers with hairs and not clean. The mattress were really slim and thin and it was unconfortable sleeping on. The structure is old and not cared at all, decaying walls and horrible smell of sewer. The kitchen in the photo of the website is quite evocative, but in the reality it is even worst. Fee for evrything (late arrival, sheet, bed, final cleaning) + 200 deposit. I gave 400 cash on check in (((. Last floor wihout lift with very small ladder. Old dirty building. Many mosquitos in the room.
