the location of the hotel was excellent. It was in a street which was almost in the middle of the La Rambla.
The hotel was clean enough and safe because they were not letting everybody to enter to the hotel you have to ring the bell to enter day and night. The Liceu metro station was 3 minutes far from the hotel. They have recommended a restaurant

Hesperia is a great hotel to stay in if you want to fall out of bed into the bustle of Barcelona life. It is perfectly located for the fabulous Bouqueria Market, shopping, tapas and bars. The location is superb - right next to the most popular street La Rambla, but yet our street was quiet and didn´t hear any street noise at all.
Nice, small hotel, seemed to be quite new, clean - will definitely go to this hotel again, when I´ll come back to Barcelona!

We arrived at 11.30am after starting from home at 3.30am. We were delighted to be told a room was available and that our request for a room in the quiter part of the hotel had been honoured. The hotel restaurant has an excellent menu offering a varied choice of well prepared dishes at a reasonable price. We would recommend this hotel to our friends
