  The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great right next to Fredrichstrasse Train Station. The hotel before check in and after you check out the hotel will look after your bags so you do not have to carry them about. - The room was very good and the staff very professional.

We've been to Berlin a number of times and with the standard of public transport, most central locations will be ideal for discovering the city - the same applies to the Generator. The beds were warm and cozy, though we benefited from having spare beds in our room meaning extra pillows for us. The shower is excellent, - I stayed at the dorm room this time, and it was one of the cleanest dorm with most comfy bunk bed I've ever experienced. The 6 bed female dorm was cute and funtional; each bed has its own power socket, head lamp, huge drawer. The power shower was great too. The wifi was free with great signal up to my room. I'm not a dorm-room fan, but I definately recommend this dorm for anyone who does. The location is very close to most of attraction and metro. Supermarket, McD, KFC were a little bit far

I was also a little disappointed that there were few cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood and that the hotel seemed to be in a business district and residential apartment district. I also realized I was minutes - As noted, the rooms are small; however, they are well designed in that there are nooks and crannies as well as hooks that help keep everything organized and handy.   It was an amazing price/ quality ratio. We had a wonderful, huge apartment for a price elsewhere you wouldn't even get a broom closet. We were amazed about the luxurious comfort and the full equipment of the suite. Specially the kitchen had everything from a fridge, micro wave to a washer. You could have moved in there for living.
