The hotel is located in the very center of the city, however the nearby streets are calm, so at night you can enjoy your rest. It takes just 2 min to reach the S-Bahn station, also you can find here a lot of restaurants and caffee. Every day I took my sandwich on my way to the conference without any time delay.
Especially I enjoyed the hotel sitting-room with wonderful fireplace and library - it was awesome!
I strongly recommend to stay in Monbijou hotel :)

It felt very non-touristy and the full kitchen with microwave, stovetop and refrigerator was great. The bathroom had plenty of space. As noted, the rooms are small; however, they are well designed in that there are nooks and crannies as well as hooks that help keep everything organized and handy.

It was an amazing price/ quality ratio. We had a wonderful, huge apartment for a price elsewhere you wouldn't even get a broom closet. We were amazed about the luxurious comfort and the full equipment of the suite. Specially the kitchen had everything from a fridge, micro wave to a washer. You could have moved in there for living.

This was a fabulous small hotel in the heart of a great neighbourhood of Berlin - Prenzlauer Berg. Unbelievable location in quiet area yet steps from the hip shops and cafes in this great area. fantastic sized room, at amazing value... and a perfect location, 3 minutes from the Tresor club! I'll never stay in a different hotel in Berlin again, we got a three room apartment for 30 quid each per head per night... brilliant! - We found the tourist information to be lacking although the staff were very helpful.
