I used to live in Berlin so was revisiting friends etc. Excellent hotel and I have made another booking for later in the year. Was amazingly close to all the touristy sites and had a brilliant nightlife. Fantastic location, short walk to train/trams, close to many attractions. Central location. An excellent location has a hotel for walks and public transport. Rooms are little, but very clean. For a stop on 1-3 nights - excellent choice!. all reviews »

Booked a double room but was actually a twin, two beds in a long tunnel shaped room. Due to being next to tram stop can be noisy.The pillow was too soft. It was very basic, but we knew that in advance and didn't really mind.There was no one in the reception after 19hs. We've had to call anotherhotel to get a password to open a safe and get your keys. Little noise from S-Bahn trains.The student house and bars nearby can somtimes be a bit noisy, but nothing untolarable. Plus, (even though I had no problem) some people who arrive too early or too late may find not having a 24/7 reception a bit annoying. Note that only German tv channels are available. Also, the noise from trams and s-bahn is excessively loud so ear plugs are a necessity! Staff are not there 24 hours so in order to get keys in in the evening make sure to bring a mobile phone.rooms very small. Very noisy area ! so noisy it should´ve been mentioned...a little noise of the train until 12:00 pm. it was noisy when the window was open, very warm when closed. So an aircondition would be fine. Although clean and comfortable the room was a bit corridor-like. Room was a tunnel.No Aircon meant that you had to open the windows, noise from the S Bahn station outside meant that you had to close the windows. Double Room was two single beds end to end. no air conditioning.
