The service for the personal - I was surprised - I hardly stay in Hostels (prefer hotels), because I always get quite stressed to what I'll find whenever I reach them. Extremely friendly welcome attendant (thrusday Oct 2nd, at night). I would come back to stay in a single room again.

The street location is at first sight unappealing but the hotel is very close to Prenzlauerberg, one of the nicest areas of Berlin. fantastic sized room, at amazing value... and a perfect location, 3 minutes from the Tresor club! I'll never stay in a different hotel in Berlin again, we got a three room apartment for 30 quid each per head per night... brilliant! - We found the tourist information to be lacking although the staff were very helpful.

The location is perfect. Mitte is a great area with lots of vintage
stores, nice restaurants en great pubs. Within a couple of minutes you
walk to the river Spree, which runs through the hart of the city. Big
hotspots like Alexanderplatz, Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburger Tor,
Reichstag, Bundestag and Holocaust Denkmal are doable walking. I can
recommend this hotel to anyone!

While not most modern it is well maintained & managed. Everything worked as it should and staff friendly and extremely helpful. (Stefanie the best concierge we have sruck - anywhere). Staff was very good and helpful, check in and check out did not take ages, rooms & facilities were very clean (we loved the soap, shampoo and handsoap they had in the rooms, by the way), the first day of our staying, when we returned back to the room after a very long long day, we found two paper bags with an apple, a toblerone and juice/water!! How very thoughtful was that?? The staff was very polite and always willing to help!
