After arriving by car and experiencing a not too helpful doorman, I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite. The hotel and the room were impeccably clean. It is a completely non-smoking hotel, and this really does make a difference. The hotel is very good for visiting Manhattan. It is located in front of Chambers Street Subway stop, on the red line, 10 minutes from Times Square. The rooms are quite small but really well cleaned and the hotel as well.
Hotel Staff are at your disposal for any needs (i.e. we need a powerful hair dryer and we received it in 1 minute directly in room) and you will find someone to help you 24 hours/day.

This hotel was awesome!!! Four forty-somethings met for our annual 'girls weekend' and were unsure about the hotel, since we booked online. We had an apartment reserved that fell through at the last minute and in a panic we found the Intercontinental online and we were so happy. We could not believe how clean and beautiful this hotel was the conceirge and doormen were wonderfully helpful. Great restaurant recommendations, etc. We will definitely stay again. Suitable for city trip.
Staff was great. Our room smelled like someone smoked, this was handled well by staff, we were given another room next day. Best were Dan and Henry (I hope I'm right about the name). Dan is the soul of the hotel, friendly and helpful. Don't know about remaining staff.

This hotel is almost so perfect, so it becomes in fact boring. How is that five star hotels still can't understand to threat guest as individuals? When you have answered the same standard questions if everything is great a hundreds times from every staff in just a four day short visit, it becomes less funny. Different individuals are intresting, perfect robotized hotels are not.

The location of this hotel was excellent, it was approx 10-15 mins max walk from the main centre of Times Square. I had looked at other hotels nearer to Times Square prior to going that were more expensive, but found so many hidden gems with food and bars on the walk to Times Square that both my wife and I would certainly use this Hotel again in the future. The Beer Authority Pub was just down the street that was a great place to drink and eat. The Buffalo wings are H-h-h-hooot.
