Very comfortable, elegant hotel in the heart of SoHo, brilliant for shopping and eating out. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful, and we did not feel out of place with our 4 boys aged 11-20. It was expensive, but then everything in New York is expensive! The breakfasts were very good (but not included).The hotel is near several subway stations so it is really easy to get around.
all reviews » This hotel is almost so perfect, so it becomes in fact boring. How is that five star hotels still can't understand to threat guest as individuals? When you have answered the same standard questions if everything is great a hundreds times from every staff in just a four day short visit, it becomes less funny. Different individuals are intresting, perfect robotized hotels are not. Favourite hotel we've stayed in, in a long time - staff were so helpful, friendly, went out of their way to help and make us feel at home. Breakfast was top notch too. View from our room 1005 was awesome - just to best start to our NYC adventure. Can't wait to go back again and stay for longer next time. Fun, quirky, intelligent decor. Floor-to-ceiling windows in rooms. Film Club night in restaurant with movie in the Theatre. Food was delicious in restaurant. Accomodating staff. Bed was super comfortable. Location on top of the best of Soho, and near Chelsea art galleries. A very fun getaway spot. The Rooms were fairly spacious , spotless, well appointed, Kit Kemp design with a lot of clever art. The staff was superb with every request from check in to checking out, dinner reservations and suggestions, . Excellent hotel . Also in Soho center was great shopping.. The hotel is beautiful -- great rooms, beautifully maintained. The service is flawless, everyone was very friendly and helpful, without being invasive or phony about it. The restaurant and room service were excellent. The exercise facilities are wonderful. Professional staff, a warm welcome on arrival and the concierge and doormen were always willing to assist and recommend for shopping, dining and directions. No in ro coffee. only shower and no bath in standard room too expensive for what you get not a 5 star experience.
