  Had stayed there two weeks prior, and booked again family room as hotel offers great value for money. Great location, great facilities and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast with enough variety. Affiliated restaurants perhaps a bit overpriced but still great dining there if you do not wish to leave the hotel area. - Really good... what people say » value for money. We paid only 50€ for a double room, which is really good for such a central location in Bangkok, far from the noisy Khao San road. The hotel is very calm and has a very nice swimming pool. The staff is also very nice and helpful.

  I stayed here 3 times during a months holiday in Thailand. The staff were always helpful, friendly and welcoming. They put me in the same room each time - I began to think of room 204 as my home in Bangkok! And they allowed me to check in at 4am when my bus arrived earlier than stated, and didn't charge me an extra night which is pretty decent. But located down a quiet side street so you can escape the noise of Bangkok - Korbua House is in a wonderful location off the main street and facing a canal. This made for a quiet and beautiful stay near a particularly busy section of town. If you want to stay in the old city part of Bangkok, I think Korbua is one of the best choices, and feels brand new in the decor and furnishings. Take the express boats along the river, and not as obvious, the Chao Phraya water taxi south east of the hotel, due east of the Democracy Monument. It's easier to get around the city from Ko

At the same time the hotel is located on the side street right besides a night market with many tasty food and drink options. Especially when you have a child and don't want to walk far away for dinner.
