Karon Beach Hotels

In a way we had a good start. we arrived at 11am when checkin is meant to be 2pm. They checked us in with no problems. Then there was: The fact the room looked a little different to the one we booked on Wotif, it was missing a sofa. The air-con was useless, after 12 hours it was still on 29 degrees. The free in-room wireless internet didn't work The shower drain blocked. We were ready to move out. 24 hours later we were relaxed in 23 degree comfort, the drain was fixed immediately - Chris

We were impressed by the hotel and helpful staff. Our initial assigned rooms were noisy owing to work being carried out at an adjacent hotel. The charming hotel manager moved our family of 6 to (cabana) pool-side adjoining rooms. We enjoyed the pool, breakfast, and facilities. A free bus went to Patong twice a day, whereas local taxis/tuk tuks would charge 300-400 Baht. For 300 Baht, the hotel provided a magnificent air conditioned minivan taxi to Patong or 1100 baht to the airport. Close by the - Pamela

This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The people are beautiful and the service is excellent. A friend and myself stayed at Karon for a week and had the time of our lives. The hotel is immensly clean, the food is great and the service is top shelf. Every request was seen to immediately and staff went above and beyond the call of duty. This is an excellent hotel, close to the shops and night life, right on beautiful Karon beach. I would definitely reccomend that if you go to Phuket yo - Beverley

Had 2 weeks here and loved it all. Rates are fantastic, staff friendly and facilities all excellent. Roooms are spacious with near new everything, a big bathroom with a separate toilet, roomy shower and a bath infront of the window looking out onto your private balcony (if you open the hardwood blinds). If I were being picky I could say the finishing was not perfect when you look closely but nothing to worry about. We stayed at the resort for 5 days (only last week) - it's fantastic and everything as good as the website shows and describes. The location on the side of the cliff is amazing really with just the best views. We checked in around midday as planned and were met but the friendliest and helpful staff and they were that way throughout out visit. The girls on the front desk told us about an amazing private beach just half an hour away. Nothing was a problem for them. We booked the 'Ocean Deluxe' - R - Peter

Our first trip to Phukhet and we didn't know what was gonna happen. We went on April 2008. We booked this hotel 5 months in advance to ensure the lowest price. We paid only $60 a night and we thought maybe it was too good to be true? Well, it wasn't! it was beyond our expectations! This hotel is excellent! The staff were great and friendly always with a smile on their face and even though they didnt speak a lot of english they bent over backwards to help us in anything we wanted during our stay. - Paul
