Patong Beach Hotels

By sheer luck we accidentally stumbled across the Aspery Hotel when looking for other accommodation. We were so impressed, we ended up staying here for 6 nights. The hotel has only recently opened, it is very reasonably priced. It has 5 floors of lovely rooms with, flat screen TV & DVD, good sized bathrooms with excellent hot water pressure in the shower. It has free WIFI in rooms and free internet cafe along with a rooftop pool. They have great breakfasts and quite a long happy hour at thei - Michael

A superb hotel that exceeded all expectations. Clean, large and bright modern rooms, comfortable beds, hotel grounds to die for and a cost that can't be beat considering the amenities available. We paid just over $100 Cdn/day total for 2 persons, 4th floor balcony room, airport pickup and return, incredible buffet breakfast daily and a one-hour massage and with all taxes and tips included. Prices probably go up quite a bit in high season but we'll definitely be back in shoulder season...possibly - Caroline

I have to admit that this is a wonderful hotel that is beautifully decorated and in a great location. HOWEVER, starting at 4 PM and continuing until 10:30 PM, the band from Jung Ceylon shopping center can be heard in almost every room. I had to close my windows, close the curtains, and still....I couldn't get away from the constant noise problem. My husband and I stayed at Burasari in November. We had such a relaxing stay. We booked one of the pool access rooms. You opened the door to your balcony and stepped into the communal pool. There are only a few rooms with this option. It was wonderful. The hotel is on a quiet street, away from all the crazy action in Patong Beach. The hotel is so beautiful. We barely wanted to leave it. The rooms are so nice. Not all that big, but they’ve got everything you want, with a very tropical feel to them. The rooms have balconies that over look to pools. We had a standard room. The Pool Access rooms looked great, but not all that private. All of the rooms even had umbrellas for when it rained. My friend and I enjoyed the stay in Courtyard Marriott at Patong, Phuket. It is in the center of Phuket where everything is near by. Patong beach is 4 min walk, which is very live and people shops, and cafés open day and night. Patong has lots of restaurants bars and night life. We stayed later in JW Marriott resort in the north of the island -- but we enjoyed it more in Patong. Courtyard is lovely, modern style hotel. The chick-in was fast, the rooms were excellent. We stayed in October at Amari with a total of 12 people including two children 1 and 6. 1. The staff are the best, they are 100% first rate, looked after anything we wanted and treated the kids like their own so well done to them. 2. The buffet breakfast was excellent, as good as any 5 star hotel 3. Had plenty of room service and dined at most restaurants at night. Little bit dearer the Patong but given the 20% off deal it worked out well plus you have the feeling that you would be 'ok' th - Sue

I stayed at Rayaburi Beach Club for 3 nights, the hotel staff are very polite and helpful. Friends of mine were staying at the Studio and my wife and I were staying at Junior Suite, both rooms were clean, new, modern and spacious with all the in-room facilities as needed. It was at the very good location and just cross a road to Patong beach (with the uninterrupted seaview from our private balcony!!! WONDERFUL!!!). It was close to everything and extremely convenience. My wife and I moved to this hotel after a very unsatisfied stay at a property close by. One of the owners greeted us and was aware we were coming from another property where we had a bad experience . He put us in a very nice beach view suite w/ a luxurious bathtub and 4 poster bed. The pool was the perfect size for this intimate hotel. The breakfast was very good w/prompt service and various newspapers to browse each morning. If you are looking for a quality stay in a modern hotel in Patong this - Damon

Stumbled across the hotel by accident on the internet, and was impressed with the fact it was a new hotel, and had some good rates. Really impressed with the hotel, originally booked in for 2 days, but ended up staying for 5. In the centre of Patong, close to the bars and shopping, but you wouldn't really know it. Stayed in a Terrace room on the 5th floor, and it was great with a small balcony to sit on to look at the world going by. Some peopl may find the fact the hotel has just concrete - Petr

During our stay in Pukhet we actually stayed at the Novotel Patong but wanted to change scenery for one evening and headed to the Mercure hotel for the seafood buffet. When we arrived at the hotel we were nicely surprised by the modern amenities. The garden and the pool looked great. The seafood buffet is held on the hotel rooftop, which is great with plenty of space. The table were nicely set with tablecloth and candles, very chic and romantic feel.
