  Very friendly and service-oriented staff. Hotel and room were perfect:comfortable, modern and tastefully designed. Perfect location; not farfrom Plaza Catalunya and Passeig Gracia, and on the other hand locatedin a quiet and relaxing street. My room was on the streetside, nice viewand no street noise at all. Breakfast reasonably good. Overall, I think that we got our money worth.

  Pensio 2000 was a real find. Help yourself tea/coffee/cakes and water, all gratis. Even had lovely white dressing gowns provided. An international crossroad location with great mix of people too! No parking or lift but worth the effort. Great value for money but shame it rained! - Location of the hotel is excellent. Close to a metro station and in the middle of Las Ramblas and El Borne. In winter, el borne is a better place to be close rather than since la rambla. The staff has made really nice improvements and facilities in the hotel, that's nice. But some of the stuff like towels and sheets are really too old.

  A lovely hotel in a perfect setting, really magical. I loved the fact that it was off the beaten track and overlooked the bay and marina. The hotel is on the edge of the stunning Cap Creus national park with all its beautifully isolated beaches. Having Salvador Dali's house within a stones' throw away was an added bonus and of course we had reserv... what people say » ed tickets to look around inside. It was wonderful being able to see his house from the pool area. The pool although pristine and a decent size was pa - Simple, clean, staff is kind and it is nice to see the same staff each year. I had a small room with a kitchen-studio apartment and was able to buy and cook food even thought i mostly ate out. I like be close to Dali's home and enjoyed to walk to cadaques as it was a 20 minute walk and good exercise. I have only kind words to say about Hotel Calina.

  Standing room only on balcony overlooking the street - very sweet - felt like a local. Close the shutters and sliding door at night time to cut out any street noise. Aircon available in room if needed. Floor had lift access. Room small and beds very comfortable. Bathroom area small and functional - electric toilet but not noisy. Purcha - It was only three minutes from the metro station and only 15 minutes from the old town for these persons who love walking and 10 minutes from Sagrada Famiglia. It was very clean, they clean the room every day and they change towels every time that you ask for it. Perfect wi-fi in the room and the staff is the most polite and helpful we 've ever met. They gave us a map of the town with the most popular monuments and they adviced us for everything that we asked. There is a lift. Very safe streets

  The location was perfect in Barri Gothic on a plaza next to the Santa Maria Del Pi church, with many restaurants, cafes, and shops seconds away from the front door. Esp. On weekends it also was a central place for street performers, many excellent. Metro stop 2 minutes away, and it was no more than 15 minutes walk to anywhere in the Barri Gothic and El Born. The price point was excellent, and I - Location, location, location. As all the travel guides say, you must get one of the rooms with a tiny balcony overlooking the square. Fabulous ever changing show to watch from the room, not noisy during normal sleeping hours. In the heart of the old city, yet tucked away. We walked everywhere. Helpful, friendly, efficient staff. Great hot water.

  The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and spoke very good english. We had a very pleasant room overlooking some woodland. Late September, but the air conditioning was still very much appreciated! - Good staff, good price, very nice place, 24h bar.

I was impressed by the quality for how much we paid. Great location for tourist attractions and just for wandering.
