The location was perfect in Barri Gothic on a plaza next to the Santa Maria Del Pi church, with many restaurants, cafes, and shops seconds away from the front door. Esp. On weekends it also was a central place for street performers, many excellent. We had a balcony overlooking the plaza, so had a front row seat to the people watching and goings-on. Metro stop 2 minutes away, and it was no more than 15 minutes walk to anywhere in the Barri Gothic and El Born. The price point was excellent, and I.

Fabulous ever changing show to watch from the room, not noisy during normal sleeping hours. In the heart of the old city, yet tucked away. We walked everywhere. Helpful, friendly, efficient staff. Great hot water. The location of the hotel is excellent for a city trip. It is only one minute to La Rambla, the most famous street of Barcelona. The staff is very friendly and helpful. First night we had a problem with the air-condition and our room was immediately changed to a new one. If I go to Barcelona again, I will not hesitate to book this hotel again. Without a doubt it is the location of this hotel that makes it so special. The staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean. Our stay was in cold February and am pleased to report that the heating worked admirably. Our room ( 71 ) , though adequate , was really small and the bathroom also was tiny. The "terrace" wasn't really a Terrace , more of a viewing platform. Very narrow and no room for a chair. No hairdryer in the room. Nothing to dislike. For the 5 night stay we enjoyed, the room did not have many facilities for our "things", like there was little in the way of shelves and hooks. The room was small, so that would have been helpful. we did not like the 3ft bath,small toilet,the poor internet and the very very small lift..thats all. Walk to first floor with bags before lift starts. The beds are too hard which was fixed by layering the extra blankets over the mattress for more padding. Breakfast is probably too basic for the price. Nothing!. Inside room had no natural light or views. The steps into the hotel were a bit difficult because I have to use a walker to get around, but the staff was very willing to help with transporting the walker up and down the stairs when I needed help. One thing that could be added is a small bath mat outside the shower stall. the long stairway from the sideway to reception. With luggages is difficult. So it is not fiendly to handicap;. Flimsy furntiture, especially the beds. Bed was very hard ! Shampoo only provided for the first day. Very small room and Shower room. Nothing that I can think of. No Wi-fi access inside the rooms. Need to go to the common area to access Internet. Have to take a few stairs to access the reception. Not convenient with heavy luggage. Many beggars. Get an outside room if possible, that said I would still return if inside room all that was available!. The shower space was very small and so was very difficult to have a shower. There was a problem with the room door with the lock, we had great difficulty trying to lock it when we were going out. No complimentary tea/coffee, no lift to 1st floor. Lift from 1st floor very small. it was budget so expect sparton facilities. Plaza was a little noisy late at night, but it's the price you pay for such a central and beautiful location. beds harder than I'm used to. Shower not fixed to wall. Everything else ok. Nothing although next time I book I will go for an outside room overlooking the square. The inconsistent water temperature in the shower. Would go from normal to scalding and then back to normal. We don't have any complain. It was a little bit nosy in the hotel. Stairs leading to reception and very small lift. The bed was not very comfortable, but it wasn't that big a deal. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but for the price they're well worth it. Could have had fruit with the breakfast. No kettle in the room and only 1 chair. Room very small.
