The hostel is in the hart of Madrid, near to shops, bars, metro. The staff was friendly. The rooms although small are comfortable and clean. The beds were set every day, and clean towels were provided if necessary. I highly recommend this hostel since is the best vale for money!

Perfect location, super close/walking distance to everything. Comfortable for a weekend stay in Madrid and perfect for quick relaxation during the day and sleeping at night.

1. Very friendly staff.
2. Very clean.
3. Reliable wi-fi in the rooms
4. Position: close to many historical sights - Sol, Real palace etc.;
Direct commuter trains from Sol to Chamartin and Atocha stations as well as to El Escorial. On the way from/to Barajas airport it's better to make change at Nuevos Ministerios station.

The hotel is very close to the center and also to El retiro. Althought there is a bar just outside the hotel, where you can eat some cheap tapas, the 8rooms is very quite and comfortable. the staff is excelent, the lady that cleans is a hard working person and the receptionist is always smiling and willing to help. Hostal La Selecta is one of the numerous mini-hotels located in one porch of the big building located in the Gran Via in the very center of Madrid. Each floor of six is divided to two-three mini-hotels. I can say nothing about others, but in La Selecta you are meeting with warm attitude. -

tv with cable. You can book a two person room for very cheap. Between
me and my friend we only paid €25 a night. That means we each paid
€12.50 per night. It was very worh it! We had our own bathrooms and
the beds where very comfortable. I recommend this hostal for anyone

Central location. Can walk to puerto del sol, plaza mayor areas. Then on the other side, can walk to museo del prado etc.
From the airport, take express bus to atocha then take the metro and stop at anton martin. the hostel is around 2-3 blocks from the anton martin metro station. Just follow the numbers. It has a small sign so look closely. If you see stores selling cloth and women's tailored dresses, you're near.
Jose was very helpful. Explaining all the sights and things to do.
