This hostal was amazing. The room was small, but spacious. It had a tv with cable. You can book a two person room for very cheap. Between me and my friend we only paid €25 a night. That means we each paid €12.50 per night. It was very worh it! We had our own bathrooms and the beds where very comfortable. I recommend this hostal for anyone staying in Madrid and on a budget, but doesn't want any cheap looking place either.
all reviews » The staff was very friendly although it was a little bit difficult to communicate in English. The equipement and service is pretty good as a family-run hotel. Clean, convenient and budget-friendly. I had a long layover in Madrid and decided to stay here to get some rest. Would definitely stay here again. It was within a 30 mins walk from the centre but the neighborhood has it's own personality. I liked that is very clean, staff is acting very nice and is nice to the metro! I recomand it from all my heart!. very nice and confortable, in the center of the city, near metro station, nice district, air conditioned. location near the prado museum was just what I was looking for. For me this was perfect since I just wanted peace and quiet. Nothing to point out. Just the heater which could be controllable. People from Madrid especially dont get aling to well with the english, sooo...u need to undestand and speak a bit in spanish!. Thin walls between rooms meant that our late arrival caused other occupants to bang on the walls for our silence yet we were not noisey. The staff do not speak English. We stayed in a front room which is located at the very busy and noisy road, even in the night. Maybe there are better rooms in the back of the building. noise insulation poor. -TV on bad spot for me, because I am tall. Small bathroom and no shower gel, you have to take your own. Not a problem if you know beforehand. At night was a little bit cold. does not have tables or writing desks. thin walls, can here neighbours making love :). The bedspread had very bad aspect, the pillowcase had hair on it and the bathroom smelled.
