  I liked how the room that I got was exactly what was shown in the pictures on the web site. I also liked that the staff speak good English and that they are very helpful. Also, it is centrally-located and just a few minutes' walk from Callao Metro station. Location is perfect, 5 minutes to Sol station or Gran Via! Staff are sooo nice and helpful, giving me a lot of advice and help me resolve the problem of travel adapter! And also need to mention, the design and decoration of the room, surprised and considerate and sweet! With the price and location, I do think this Hostal deserves highly recommended.

  First of all, the location of the hostel is great, being located in the heart of Madrid, a few minutes away from Gran Via and all the cultural places. Also it is really easy to arrive from the airport. Second of all, the ratio quality-price was great taking into the consideration that my room was quite modern and I enjoyed the shower with hidromas... what people say » sage. The room was very clean and quiet. Next, the staff was young, professional, very friendly and with good communication skills (they spoke English - The location of Hostal Gala is excellent, a 5 minute walk from Gran Via and Puerto Del Sol. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, always ready to help and advise on where to go and what to do. The hostal is also kept very clean and the cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Although the rooms do not have safe deposit boxes, security and leaving passports/money behind was never a cause for concern. This is a place I would recommend and stay at again!

  I spent three week in hostel Estrella and I was really satisfied. The hostel was very clean and landlady was really nice lady. She don't speak english but she always try to help you.
