Location, location, location. for me is the most important the hotel is in the heart of everything - The room was large and quiet. It had generous windows and three layers of curtains, to block light. Location was very close to major sites and to the metro. The ventilation system was effective and quiet.

It's an hostal, not an hotel. Said that, everithing was really good: WiFi decent, clean room (they clean it every day) and the staff is very helpful. Position is very good: really close to atocha, to the retiro gardens, the Prado, the modern art museum.. And close to city centre as well. In case in the district there are too different bars/pubs..

The host was really nice. Even though he can't speak English, he tried to explain everything and helped us to find some good place near by. The room was also quite large and comfortable for two people to stay. I would love to recommend this place to those who want to stay in Madrid!
