Staff were lovely always very helpful. Hotel is a in walk from the llacuna metro stop and it's about 10mins into las ramblas! The area itself is lovely right on la rambla poblenou which is full of bars and restaurants and leads down to the sea front from there it's a stroll to the Olympic port which has more bar clubs and restaurants we loved our stay and the location. The hotel was excellent value for money. We had a little kitchen with fridge so we could prepare our own breakfast. The hotel is outside the main tourist area and the local people are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed some great food in the area and I would recommend eating a plate of Iberico at the butcher's terrace. I love this hotel, it's simpel and clean !
I think it's the 5th time that I stayed here, and I'm always very happy here. Not all of the personel speaks english - I think that's just also the charm, you're in Catalunya... not in England- but they are always very helpfull and friendly.
Location is great, and the price quality is very good I think. Will definitly return ! Good internet connection.

The location is great and the double bed room was quite OK for the price we pay. The bathroom was comfortable. The building is quite old and a bit degraded but they arranged the hostel so that you don't get depressed. Don't expect to be at a Hilton, but if you want to save some money still being in one of the best part of the city this should be at the top side of your list.
