  It was my second time and I loved it. 1.location,location. Location! Literally 2 minutes on foot from Puerta del Sol ( the very center of town) with a night shop next door and plenty of shops, restaurant and eateries 2. Mrs. Luz , the owner is always sweet and accommodating.3. CLEAN. Our room and the bathroom have been recently refurbished. 4. QUI... what people say » ET. There were hardly any noise. Surprising given its location. 5. For the seniors there is also a LIFT.All in all it is a great value for money. I w - The location next to the Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor is excellent, walking distance to the Prado and the main sights. We were received very cordially by the charming and very friendly Luz, in her clean and comfortable hostal. Lots of eating options nearby. We didn't have a good experience at the nearby Museo del Jamon, but that was just our bad choice for breakfast.

  The studio apartment was very good and over-looking the main tourist area. Yet it was not noisy as the air-conditioning and sound-proofing was good. The first day the studio was a hole-in the wall. But they apologised and cut a third of the room rent and moved us the next day. So when you book insist on the second floor apartment. - Perfect Locat... what people say » ion!!!
