  Location is excellent for both nightlife and sightseeing/museums, hardly had to use transportation. I was alone in the room with two beds for a little more than 30 euro! A lot of hangers in the wardrobe. - I thought it was clean, safe and friendly, with lots of bathrooms if your room isn't en suite!   Everything was just fine, ... it was a thoroughly nice hotel, foundthat complaints re them not allowing late checkouts, or storage ofbaggage to be either untrue, or the hotel had taken steps tp resolvethese complaints, because we were allowed to do both, Service wasexcellent, room nicely appointed and comfortable, a very pleasant stay.Would return ... what people say » any time. - The whole front desk team were incredibly helpful - the little touches of free coffee and soft drinks in the lounge in the afternoon made it more of a club feel - very good service across the board indeed.The rooms were modern - boutique hotel style and well furnished - nice flat screen TV etc. Public areas are excellent!

  The hotel staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. Weliked the fact that it was served untill 12 noon? No morning rush andthere was still plenty of choice when we went down quite late. - Excellent Hotel, ideally situated - very friendly and helpful staff

  The location was right down in the city and close to many sights. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the building was of the old architecture, which was charming. The rooms had a television, phone and plenty of bath linens. Jimmy and his staff were always very helpful. We spent 5 nights in Madrid and were very pleased with our accommoda... what people say » tions. We would recommend Hostal Sardinero to anyone wanting to stay right in the heart of Madrid. - Superb location in beautiful side-street within easy walking distance of all the major sights. It was lovely to feel that we were in the heart of Madrid. The staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us a warm welcome even though we arrived very late after a delayed flight. Room very comfortable. There was some noise on Friday and Saturday nights from people in the street but no traffic noise.

  The Hotel itself is perfectly situated in the centre of Madrid close to almost everything, the museum and park just a short walk away. The Hotel was spotless and the staff really helpful. We had a room that looked out on to the fire exit bit strange not having natural light, but the quietness of the room more than made up for it. Not luxury, but very adequate and so inexpensive...we stayed two nights before our tour of Spain started and would stay here again for longer!

  The hotel was in the perfect location. Very close to the museums, plazas, restaurants and shops. It was much better than we expected for such a low price! They cleaned the room every day and the hotel was very quiet. We highly recommend! - great small hostal with really nice helpful service!!! Location is perfect to explore the city by foot.

  The staff was really nice and at our service all the time. It was very clean and the two bedroom room is relly big and has it's own bathroom, and the price for 6 days was excellent. The location of the hostel is very good, everything in the center of Madrid is nearby, in the walking distance, especially the most famous museums in Madrid. There are... what people say » various shops and resturants just across the hostel. We were really satsified :) - The location is great. The value is great. Your really cant complain too much when it's about 30 euros a night in this location. Facility is a bit outdated, but it is cheaper and yet still a lot better and more comfortable than most hostels in Europe of that price range. It is clean for the most part and staff is friendly. We got a three people room for 30 a night.
