The Avenida Palace is one of the best 4-star hotels in which I have been staying: excellent location, good service, recently renovated room and bathroom, and almost no noise from the street, from the corridor or from other rooms.

Staff was really helpful and friendly. There's two different guest houses in nearby buildings, one is rather communal backpacker style and the other is quieter. I was in the former (without knowing what I was getting into), and they were easy going about moving me into the latter. Good kitchen set up. The backpacker place was actually pretty nice for that sort of thing, just not what I was looking for (I'm a bit older than that now, and like my peace and quiet!).

i like our apartment on the 5th floor. Clean and cozy. We feel like at home and the apartment is just few walks from the bus stops and metro train. Highly recommended for those who are coming from the airport coz the airport bus (Aerobus) stops few walks from the apartment. -

A fantastic modern apartment in an old beautiful prestigious baroque old building. This apartment is fabulous as the staff was very helpful and very kind : Jordi & Rafa.

beach as we had great shopping and restaurants nearby (including Samoa
which serves dinner earlier than most restaurants - perfect for those

Had a great stay at these apartments, reasonably basic inside but
everything you need for a comfortable break. The location was good,
roughly a 15-20min walk to the Las Ramblas, 5 mins away from the
underground and a few mins away from one of the stops on the blue bus
tour route. If you want to eat out try Morryssom which is a small tapas
bar only
