We were happily surprised. It is a low profile hotel. No grand entrance, but home like. The room was spacious, clean, newly styled, comfortable with a wonderful balcony view of the city. The hotel is about a block away from a beautiful archway and walkway, not covered on the bus tours. The neigherhood is safe and there is life going on up until 2:00 a.m., but it does not disturb the guests. We loved it. This hotel can accomodate those with who walk with a cane/walker.
