Staff were always helpful and friendly and were good at "remembering the guests faces".
The lady serving breakfasts was so pleasant, cheerful and helpful. Her reputation on trip-adviser is well justified - she is a real credit to the hotel.The cleaning staff were accommodating when it came to access for room tidying etc.Good location close to Monumental underground station and local cafes etc.

This is a quiet business hotel (althouogh we were tourists) located in the Gracia neighborhood. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was an ok size with comfortable beds and wifi. Hotel has a inside/outside lounge that was nice for relaxing after a day of sightseeing and before heading out to dinner. Optional breakfast is acceptable.

The location is great. It's close to the city centre and bus stops are within 5 minutes of walk.Metro station (Diagonal) is within 15 minutes of walk. There's also a supermarket next to the hotel so you can buy almost everything you need. Local fruits are cheap.
Overall it's a great value for the money we payed.

As has been mentioned elsewhere this is much better than a two star hotel. Though a bit away from the centre, it is easy to get to by public transport - just 5-10 mins on bus nos 16 or 17. The location is superb - right next to the most popular street La Rambla, but yet our street was quiet and didn´t hear any street noise at all.
Nice, small hotel, seemed to be quite new, clean - will definitely go to this hotel again, when I´ll come back to Barcelona!

Enjoyed the location for getting to the City Tours and for feeling save. Front desk staff were competent in English which was a big help for us. We arrived at 11.30am after starting from home at 3.30am. We were delighted to be told a room was available and that our request for a room in the quiter part of the hotel had been honoured.
