  We only had one night in this hotel and then moved to a 5 star in the Port Olympic area. The location of the Colonial hotel was fantastic. Across the street is a fantastic local area full of interesting resteraunts and bars. Although we moved to the Port Olympic area we returned to the area oppo - Great hotel in a great location. I had to book this hotel at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances, and I was over the moon with my choice. Very relaxing atmosphere and for the price I got it, you can not go wrong!!!!

  The hote is just wonderfull- the stuff is very kind and helpfull, room was very comfortable, although the bed was very big. - I normally don't stay at 3 stars hotel. However I had to because only 3 stars offered wifi in the rooms. That was a nice upgrade.

  I stayed only one night but I really like it and like I was staying for a long time...It is a home actually but really nice and really warm..I talked with Agustina who working there at nights and she was really nice and trying to help you(Thank you for everything Agustina)..there is shared kitchen so, you can cook your own food(its best way to sav... what people say » e money for backpackers) cleaning was good as well :) I will come back there If I come to Barcelona again..Hope to see you soon :) - Staff was really helpful and friendly. There's two different guest houses in nearby buildings, one is rather communal backpacker style and the other is quieter. I was in the former (without knowing what I was getting into), and they were easy going about moving me into the latter. Good kitchen set up. The backpacker place was actually pretty nice for that sort of thing, just not what I was looking for (I'm a bit older than that now, and like my peace and quiet!).
