  I stayed only one night but I really like it and like I was staying for a long time...It is a home actually but really nice and really warm..I talked with Agustina who working there at nights and she was really nice and trying to help you(Thank you for everything Agustina)..there is shared kitchen so, you can cook your own food(its best way to sav... what people say » e money for backpackers) cleaning was good as well :) I will come back there If I come to Barcelona again..Hope to see you soon :) - Staff was really helpful and friendly. There's two different guest houses in nearby buildings, one is rather communal backpacker style and the other is quieter. I was in the former (without knowing what I was getting into), and they were easy going about moving me into the latter. Good kitchen set up. The backpacker place was actually pretty nice for that sort of thing, just not what I was looking for (I'm a bit older than that now, and like my peace and quiet!).

The staff were really friendly and helpful,our double room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with en suite including wall hair dryer and the option to have towels changed daily or to re-use. We stayed for a cold 5 days in February but the room air conditioning served very well as a heater as you were able to programme t... what people say » o whatever temperature you required. Breakfast was fine but the coffee was machine coffee, however the dining area leads on to the public restaurant/c - The location was wonderful. Had very close access to everything we wanted to do and see. You could have an inexpensive quick meal or sit down for a more elegant dining experience and all within a two minute walk. The staff was wonderfully helpful and competent. Santiago was a tremendous help to me when I was have some trouble with my airline. Everything is easily within walking distance. All in all it was a great location. We did have a room that did not face the street so we slept comfortably

  We were really really lucky. We were given a room on the last floor (8th) which has a private balcony overlooking Barcelona and the Gothic quarter. The room was very fresh and clean and it was very nicely decorated. Mind you I am not very fond of modern design -- I typically like places from the beginning of the 20th centuary.   We were delighted with this hotel. It was right in the heart of Las Rambles. As we arrived from a Cruise, we checked in at 10am and a room was assigned to us right away.   The location was perfect, the staff are courteous, polite and helpful. I loved the rooms, they are big and clean. Also, I asked the reception about local places to go and hang out and listen to good music, and they were more than willing to show me where to go. Furthermore, I arrived very early and they accomodated me and allowed me to check in ... what people say » at 10 am. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. - All the staff were very courteous, helpful and friendly. We were a bithesitant after reading some unfavorable reviews on the website, however,our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable, excellent location, nocomplaints at all.
