  Staff were friendly and spoke English fluently. The room and facilities were very clean. We didn't think the room was small at all - we could fit both our large suitcases in without any troubles. The hostal is also conveniently located in the heart of Barcelona. Passeig de Gracia is within walking distance and Casa Mila is just two blocks away! There are plenty of decent restaurants around the area as well as a laundry service two blocks down f - The location of Hostal Boutique Khronos was excellent, 10 mins walk from the main square where buses to and from airport were situated. Bus Turistic city tour buses also leave from here. We were also only 15 mins walk from The Ramblas, the main tourist shopping street. Khronos was basic but very clean & the staff were very friendly & helpful. The bed was quite hard, but this seems to be the case in many Spanish hotels. there was also a great terrace where free tea was served. Right next

  The hostel is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood that gives you a great feel of life in the city. The metro is barely 5mins walk and connects you straight to the city in 15mins. A big plus is the well equiped kitchen and good acces to wi-fi. The hostel is close to metro station and there are few shops nearby - but it may be hard to buy something during siesta or on Sunday.

  Apartments highly recommended. We got a very warm welcome on arrival from the owner, who gave as area maps, marked important things like supermarkets, pharmacy, metro, shops, places to visit e.t.c. Staff is always willing to help. We were allowed to check-in 1,5 hours before stated time (just let them know what time you expect to arrive). Apartme... what people say » nts are nice and clean. Well furnished and equipped with almost all you need. WiFi connection is very fast. We stayed on 5th floor and I can't mention - Apartment was spacious and well presented and facilities were good. Staff were pleasant and attentive and spoke very good English. Staff are available in office below during working day and can be contacted out of hours. They were able to offer good advice on enjoying the tourist experience including a simple way to obtain advance tickets to the main tourist attractions (for which I would definitely recommend advance booking unless you like standing in queues).
