The hotel is right in the middle of everything but you never hear any of the traffic because of the very good double glazing even though we were right on the road.   Excellent location, quiet room. The room was very pleasant and so were the public areas of the hotel. The staff was very kind, efficient and helpful. The Airbus station is just few minutes away and since we traveled by air we enjoyed the cheap and efficient bus transportation. Its on a quiet street just a few hundred yards from La Ramblas. It was a beautiful hotel right in the center of everything. The finishings were beautiful with a luxurious feel in the common areas as well as in the rooms. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Nice big towels and very nice large bath sheets. Out of the 5 hotels we stayed at in Spain, this was our favorite.

The location was awesome right in the middle of Las Ramblas and steps to the Bari Gotic. I would highly recommend this location as the prices were very good as well. They upgraded our room and gave us a corner room with views on 2 sides of the hotel. The delay did give us a chance to - The staff are top-notch. Very few luxury hotels are able to balance friendliness with efficiency like Hotel Bagues. It's a rare gift to offer the experience they do for guests. The ambiance of the hotel is fantastic, too, and despite being on the La Rambla - with a room overlooking it - at night we could only hear the faintest of sounds. Luxuriously decorated, but cosy, the entire hotel is a really lovely experience.
